Important Regional Entry Information

Entering Regionals

Qualifying numbers- these numbers are not yet available and will be published the week prior to the first state meets (March 15th).

All Coaches – please communicate with your team families about Region 8 competition dates and sites for their Level or Division Regionals. They’ll need to decide NOW if they plan to attend or not. When registering for State Meets, you must check yes or no on Meetmaker as to whether each athlete will be entering Regional Competitions. States not using Meetmaker coaches will be required to commit to Regional competition at State Meet. Regional information must be given to parents before State Meet.

All qualified athletes to a regional competition MUST BE ENTERED INTO THE REGIONAL MEET BY MIDNIGHT ON SUNDAY FOLLOWING EACH STATE MEETS FOR THOSE LEVELS & DIVISIONS

All clubs should make sure that their accounts are updated on Meetmaker, if their state uses Meetmaker, and before each state meet they need to confirm athletes that will attend if they qualify. Each State will publish a final qualifying list ASAP after the last session of each level/division. Coaches or the person that enters your athletes into competitions will have until Midnight on Sunday to enter athletes – There will be NO refunds for any regional competition FOR ANY REASON so be sure to enter only the athletes that you are sure will attend. Late entries will NOT be accepted AFTER MIDNIGHT ON SUNDAY – you cannot wait until Monday to decide if your athletes will attend – YOU MUST KNOW AT THE STATE MEET AND ENTER BY MIDNIGHT ON SUNDAY.

All entries for Region 8 Regionals must begin at USA Gymnastics Meet Reservations and with payment through Meetmaker.
